Rylan is two months old! The time has flown by...it seems like I just gave birth to him yesterday. We went to the pediatrician's yesterday for his two month check-up and vaccinations. Rylan doesn't mind the doctor until they want to take his clothes off (hopefully that will remain a trend well into his teenage years)! He was already crying before the shots began, and by the end of it we were both crying. Its very hard to see your child in pain, but I know that they are good for him. The doctor was pleased with his weight gain; he is now 10lbs 1.5oz and 23 1/2 inches long. He is catching up! Since Rylan still has trouble with spitting up (alot) she recommended switching him to a formula with rice starch. So, we are testing the Similac Sensitive and Enfamil A.R. brands right now...and they seem to be working! He is also sleeping through the night more! I think in the last week we have had 2 or 3 nights with at least 6 hours of straight sleep! Hooray! Now, we just have to get him to sleep in his crib instead of his swing. Jon used to sleep a lot in his swing when he was that little too. I think it's easier on their tummies.
